GEOFFREY J.D. PAYNE (Writer/Director/Producer):
Geoffrey was born in Warwick New York and later raised in the artistic seaside community of Rockport, Massachusetts.
At the age of 16, Payne attended a workshop in upstate NY to begin his training. There, he was scouted and went to peruse a mentorship in musical theater for 3 years. At age 19, Payne was encouraged to branch out into New York City.
After receiving a scholarship, he attended the Weist Barron School for TV & Film where he studied with a notable television producer, director and writer. In 2006, Payne began his immersive training at the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Upon graduation in 2008, Payne appeared in several Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway theater productions. Some credits include: “Choose Your Grown Adventure,” “This is Our Youth,” “Books On Tape,” and “Humans Anonymous.” At that time, Geoffrey co-founded The Altruistic Theater Company.
In 2016, Payne landed his breakout role in a short film written by the Oscar winning writer Nicolas Giacobone and director Miguel J. Soliman entitled “Desde El Principio” which screened for years on HBO NOW. Other film credits include Mateo Marquez’s “The Quiet” and Christopher Arcella’s “Bitcoin Executor.”
CHRISTIAN KAZADI (Director of Photography):
Christian is a Congolese South African filmmaker. After leaving the Congo at the age of four Christian immigrated to South Africa with his parents and was raised there with his 4 younger siblings.
Christian pursued a degree in filmmaking at the University of Johannesburg. Where he Majored in Anthropology, Communications, and Filmmaking taking accounting as his minor. In the USA Christian attended UCLA for cinematography and currently lives in Los Angeles.
As a Cinematographer Christian has worked with Kwesta (one of South Africa’s biggest musical artists) including others like Estro, G’san, and more. Christian is known for his work on the film “Exceptional Beings,” “Diversify,” and the award winning sizzler trailer for the feature film entitled “Headway.”
Kazadi has directed a number of short films from “24 Hours Blind” (2019), “Blinkers” (2019), “Bottom Rockers” (2018), and his newest upcoming horror short “Chair” (2022). He was also the director and director of cinematography for the two feature films entitled “Creatures Of Necessity” (2021) and “Exceptional Beings” (2021).
Christian also works as an editor stretching his range from music videos to feature films. In the past year he took on the position of senior editor for the project “Alone” (2021).
KENNY “BUTTONS” CAMACHO (Music Producer):
Kenny had the New York’s Hip-Hop scene buzzing after winning a series of producer showcases with his heavy hitting ‘East Coast’ sounding records.
His unique drum programming, skillfully incorporated vocal shouts and catchy hooks have sparked interest amongst the industry executives as well as the artists, most recently “Swizz Beats,” “Obie Trice,” “Jim Jones,” “Fred the Godson,” “Nino Bless,” mass appeal artist “Fashawn,” and many more.
Button’s style is quite versatile, ranging from power ballads to boom bap inspired knockers. His tracks often feature strong melodic themes and compelling drum patterns but his artistry really gets to shine through his haunting choruses and masterfully arranged vocals.
ALEXANDER ARNTZEN (Composer):
Alexander is an award winning Film Composer & Singer/Songwriter of multiple genres, styles, and mediums.
His latest projects include original music for feature films Initiation (2020 SXSW Film Festival), A New York Christmas Wedding (Netflix), Victim(s), & TV projects for SyFy’s Expiration Date, CW Seed’s Cupid’s Match, & Saving The Human Race.
During the summer of 2010 Alexander was honored to accept an internship with Hans Zimmer. In the summer of 2013 Alexander had the privilege of interning for Danny Elfman and assist with transcribing scores for his concert, “Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton.”
EVY ZAVALA (Entertainment Attorney):
Attorney Evy Zavala is an experienced attorney representing clients in the areas of sports, entertainment, and corporate matters. While working on his J.D., Evy was selected as a judicial extern for the Honorable Terry J. Hatter, Jr., Chief Judge of the United States District Court, Central District of California, where he acquired invaluable insight and experience from the federal bench.
Mr. Zavala’s Sports and Entertainment practice represents a diversity of clients in all facets of sports, entertainment, corporate, media and communications. In addition to his practice, Mr. Zavala serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Southern California, as well as the Athletic Counsel of Vanguard University.
Mr. Zavala previously served on the Board of Directors of the Christian Legal Society and as Chief Counsel of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, where he advocated on behalf of
Latinos on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.
DANNY CHIPPS: (Production Accountant)
Danny Chipps’ pursuit in production accounting began in Ohio after he graduated from Youngstown State University. He then followed his dreams to sunny Los Angeles California to do accounting on a much larger scale. His balance between creativity, technical knowledge, and keeping the producer’s vision paramount has led him to work on everything from Feature films to Documentaries.
